  Core to our talent management work is individual assessment. For the most senior people we advocate one to one assessment. This will usually comprise of an in-depth semi structured interview by a highly experienced occupational psychologist, a selection of psychometric and ability tests and colleague feedback.

We also design and deliver group assessment centres. Using work based simulations, we assess the capability and development needs of a group of employees or job candidates and prepare detailed reports to aid selection and succession decisions.

Edgecumbe assessments are prepared and presented using our own model of underlying capability. We call this the Primary Colours Model. This simple yet powerful model can be mapped to any competency model and provides structure and clarity to the process. Psychometric scores are analysed and feedback is given using our own unique report that links personality traits to leadership and management tasks, identifying those where your personality helps and those where it might work against you. This analysis helps you to make sense of the data in a practical and meaningful way.
